At the meeting in West Virginia I was asked to find a way for committee members to share state reports, study/survey results, and other information about catfish management throughout the year. I discussed this with Fred Jansen and he recommended we try a discussion forum that he created for the southern division committees. This post is a test to give us an idea of how it works and to get everyone signed-up. Please sign-up and reply to this post to let us know that it's working. We can discuss it more here but down the road I think it would be good if each state volunteered to post a report for there state at least once during the year. If we had someone posting a new report each month, the forum would stay active and we could discuss our activities throughout the year instead of just once a year at the meeting.
