The 2013 annual meeting of Tidewater AFS will be held March 21-23 in Solomons, Maryland. Early registration and abstract submission for the meeting is now open (see above and side links). The deadline for abstract submission is February 15, and the deadline for early registration is March 2.
CONTINUING EDUCATION
The meeting will also offer a continuing education course for $10. You can register for the course on the registration page. Information is provided below.
Comparing and Selecting Growth Models**

Officially accredited AFS continuing education course.
Topics:
* Compare growth models and determine best fitting model.
* Test for coincident curves using Analysis Residual Sum of Squares.
* Using likelihood ratios to compare nested models.
* Using Akaike Information Criteria to compare non-nested models.
